JPT made the trip down to beautiful Santa Barbara for the 95th annual Santa Barbara Hunter-Jumper show. All of our riders competed well and had a lot of fun.
Aisha Rashid and Tin Man had the best possible debut in the pre-child jumpers, winning champion. The pair also had a very strong showing in pre-chilld hunters and equitation.
Sania Rashid on Misty’s Bracken placed well in every single children’s hunter pony class, and also placed consistently in the short stirrups.
Noel Dybdal and Dana Z worked their way up from very strong rounds in the .80 jumpers to take second place in both the .90 jumpers and the low Childrens/AA Jumpers -Table II 2.2b.
Jack McLean and Legato continue to grow in their first season on the circuit for both horse and rider with a first place in 1.0 jumpers and a third in both the $500 Childrens/AA jumper classic and the PCHA Horsemanship Class. The pair moved up to 1.05 jumpers, taking 4th place.
We can’t wait to be part of the Santa Barbara tradition again next year.
